Nancy Drew series

A great book , I would say ! It kept me in suspense all the while . I really wonder how the author thinks of the mysteries which she wrote when they were all so realistic . Actually , to tell the truth , I did not like this series at first and I gave up reading the book after a few chapters . But when my school teacher introduce the book to me , I tried picking it up and reading it again . Wow ! It certainly was a change . I started my first nancy drew book which I truly like after I recieved the English class circulation books going around in class . I think that was my 3rd book I recieved in this activity the school organised . The last few books weren't very interesting . One of which was about the times of the 1st world war . The cover of that book was black and white and it obviously did not interest me . The title was " Lily crossing " or something like that and the 2nd book I recieved was about monsters and aliens . The cover was cute and illustrative but no , I prefer books more down to the earth , more realistic , more about real life . Thus , when I got the Nancy Drew book , I tried to read it again whenever I was free . Perhaps now I was older , I could understand the language better . Hence , it makes reading the book more fluently . I really enjoyed the book and I liked it when the author , Carolyn Keene , builds up the problem . We learnt that at school but I was never really able to do it . The suspense was amazing and i understood what people said as " hooked on " to the book . You could say , I was crazy about it . I read it on the bus , on the bed , almost everwhere and until late at night . Unlike my friends , which took half an hour to finish the book , I took more that 3 hours . But I think that's the proper way to read a book , isn't it ? The brain won't be able to absorb any good words if the reader were to just glance through every page . So anyway , once again , I would like to introduce this book to all my friends and to tell them how nice is it .
